... CenturyLink announced that a Docker management platform, Panamax, would be added to the open-source community. Panamax offers developers a single management platform to easily create, share, and deploy any applications contained by Docker.

... IT leaders from Pfizer and Cigna join the Open Networking User Group (ONUG) as members of its Board of Directors. Michael Elmore of Cigna and Nelson Tai of Pfizer will be added to the ONUG Board of 16 IT executives and their aim will be to drive deployment of open networking and SDN solutions.

... Array Networks announced its new aCelera WAN1100 WAN optimization controller will be immediately available. Targeting small and remote office environments, WAN optimization will ensure workers receive the same application experience no matter where they are located.

... Penguin Computing, one of five authorized Open Compute (OCP) solution providers, announced impending availability of its new Arctica 4806xp open network switch based on Broadcom StrataXGS Trident II chipset.
