Pure Storage has unveiled its latest storage products, including a new Enterprise Data Cloud platform designed to make it easier for firms to manage their data across their entire stack.

Revealed during its Accelerate event in Las Vegas, the new platform acts as a unifying storage solution, with users able to manage their data more intuitively via a slew of new tools and workflows.

Customers can connect to third-party applications like Cisco, Slack, and VMware, and build custom application recipes, all of which can be controlled from a centralized virtual cloud.

Businesses using the platform can employ administrators to manage their entire data stack, which is augmented by Pure Fusion, a new tool capable of pooling data resources without the need for storage admin configuration.

Pure Fusion provides platform users with presets and remote provisioning, which the firm claims eliminates the need for administrators to pre-plan and tune deployments.

Pure Storage is touting its new platform as a way for businesses to better manage the explosion of data from AI deployments, with the firm claiming traditional storage models “create fragmentation, silos, and uncontrolled data sprawl.”

“It’s time to stop managing storage and start managing data," Pure Storage CEO Charles Giancarlo noted in a statement. "With AI increasing the potential value of enterprise data and cyber-threats imperiling it, data storage architectures and the tools for managing data have not kept pace."

In addition to managing the influx of data, the platform also features an AI Copilot tool, which it claims provides personalized, fleet-aware insights across topics including security information and performance issues.
