NTT Communications is launching a suite of services intended to enhance programmable networking and cloud infrastructure environments.

SDx+M (Software Defined Everything and Management) will include components like hybrid cloud, which will allow customers to combine cloud services from multiple providers with their on-premises systems to connect global offices, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and smartphones.

SDx+M also comes equipped with network monitoring and security, allowing customers to more efficiently use their network resources and also detect threats based on log data.

There is also software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN) component. SDx+M comes with Software-Defined Network Service (SD-NS), a platform that allows customers to deploy network functions like SD-WAN and will also provide security functions, remote and mobile connectivity, and monitoring capabilities.

NTT’s Software-Defined Exchange Service (SD-Exchange) offers connectivity between NTT Communications’ enterprise cloud and its data centers as well as multiple cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). This allows customers to establish connectivity for data exchange and disaster recovery between multiple clouds to access various types of data.

NTT’s cloud management platform allows users to manage all of their environments whether on-premises or in cloud services like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or NTT’s enterprise cloud. New features will also enable customers to monitor resource information of devices used in SD-NS and SD-Exchange.

Global Management One offers support for all new technologies without having to rely on engineers.

NTT recently partnered will Dell EMC Japan to help large Japanese enterprises launch multi-tenant cloud platforms.
