Infoblox and Google Cloud have partnered to improve cloud networking and security through two new solutions designed for enterprise needs. The offerings include Infoblox Universal DDI for Google's Cloud WAN and DNS Armor, aimed at simplifying operations and enhancing protection against cyber threats during cloud transitions.

Infoblox Universal DDI integrates with Google Cloud's WAN, combining the global Google Cloud Cross-Cloud Network infrastructure with Infoblox’s DNS and dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) services. This integration enables enterprises to modernize their networking systems more effectively.

Additionally, Google Cloud DNS Armor, powered by Infoblox, offers proactive detection of malicious activity for workloads hosted in Google Cloud, further strengthening cybersecurity. The new solutions emphasize a streamlined, integrated approach to networking security for organizations in hybrid and multicloud environments.

The partnership highlights the need for operational efficiency and security amidst escalating challenges in business IT environments. Scott Harrell, president and CEO of Infoblox, noted that this collaboration underlines the vital role of Protective DNS and DDI services in securing hybrid cloud ecosystems.
