Everpure, the company formerly known as Pure Storage, posted $1.2 billion in revenues for its latest fiscal quarter, a 38% year-over-year (YoY) increase capped by securing another hyperscaler customer.

The vendor’s financial results for its second quarter (Q2) of fiscal year 2027 ended August 2, 2026, revealed product revenues of $687 million, up 54% YoY. Subscription services were also up 20%, rising to $499 million.

CFO Tarek Robbiati told investors that demand continued to be strong across its solutions portfolio even with price increases amid the compounding memory shortage, adding: “We are raising guidance significantly for the second half of the year to reflect our confidence in continued revenue momentum.”

Pure reinvented itself earlier this year in a bid to break out of being pigeonholed solely as a storage vendor, pushing to also be an AI data management platform on top of its kingly role in the flash space.

The vendor marked its rebranding in Q2 with a formal unveiling of its Data Intelligence platform and would go on to secure its second “top five” hyperscale customer. The unnamed giant is tapping Everpure's DirectFlash architecture to improve performance of its storage stack. The icing on the cake saw Pure top Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for enterprise storage platforms.

During its earnings call, a buoyant CEO Charlie Giancarlo told investors that while some of its growth acceleration can be attributed to price increases, Everpure’s shift has helped it grow “far beyond that of our legacy competitors.”

“We believe that we have entered into breakout territory in our core enterprise market because of the steady progress we have made in building out our product line and architecture," Giancarlo said.

Referencing the hyperscale design win, Giancarlo said Everpure expects hyperscale product revenue to rise significantly in the coming quarters and “years ahead.”

“We expect large hyperscaler order commitments for our DirectFlash solution to extend into calendar 2028, powering tens of exabytes of capacity, representing a multiple of our expectations for this year,” Giancarlo said. “Our estimates and committed order volumes for total sales to hyperscalers through both fiscal year 2027 and 2028 continue to grow and will be incorporated and consolidated into our product revenue and guidance reporting.”

Everpure anticipates the good times to continue, eying rQ3 evenues in the range of $1.325 billion to $1.335 billion in what would be a 38% YoY increase.
