SDxCentral Quick Hit: Aqua Adds Supply Chain Security to CNAPPAqua Security announced an end-to-end software supply chain security solution, providing protection across the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for organizations to prevent and stop supply chain attacks on cloud-native applications.
According to Aqua data, software supply chain attacks have seen a 300% increase year-over-year.
As part of Aqua’s Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), the solution includes code scanning, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) posture management, pipeline security, an enhanced software bill of materials (SBOM), and open source health assessment.
The launch of Aqua’s Supply Chain Solution is the last step in the full integration of the Argon Security technology following the December 2021 acquisition, according to a company announcement. Aqua claims theirs is the first and only end-to-end software supply chain security solution on the market.
