Xsight Labs launched a program providing high-performance, programmable infrastructure solutions.

The Xsight Accelerate program promises to deliver exponential bandwidth growth while drastically reducing power consumption, total cost of ownership (TCO), and time-to-market for cloud, telecom, and high-capacity computing infrastructure.

Unveiled at OFC in Los Angeles, the program is designed to overcome the limitations of legacy architectures, which have struggled to scale and often consume significantly more power than necessary to handle modern data-heavy tasks.

The vendor argues that legacy systems, often built around power-intensive x86 servers, have reached a "breaking point" and are no longer sufficient to meet the demands of modern cloud and high-capacity computing.

It claims Accelerate significantly reduces time-to-market by providing a comprehensive suite of ready-to-deploy deliverables, including architectural blueprints, technical code, and integrated support for the Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC) standard across its E-series data processing unit (DPU) and X-series switch silicon.

It also encompasses hardware-accelerated fast paths to support security and networking services operating at a true line rate of up to 800 Gb/s or 12.8 Tb/s, to eliminate performance bottlenecks while maintaining zero-loss data transport.

Eric Vallone, Xsight’s VP of business development, said in a blog post that Accelerate looks to “ensure our partners can deploy with confidence and speed.”
