SpacemiT, a RISC-V AI CPU company based in China, has announced significant advancements in its development of the SpacemiT Vital Stone® V100 server CPU chip, which now offers a comprehensive hardware and software platform that meets server specifications.

The V100 features the RISC-V CPU core X100, which supports virtualization, memory virtualization through an IOMMU, and various security functions. This 64-bit, server-grade CPU core has demonstrated exceptional performance, achieving over 9 points/GHz on the SPECINT2006 benchmark.

Moreover, the IOMMU complies with the RISC-V architecture and the AXI4-Stream DTI interface, enabling flexible integration in SoC systems for enhanced peripheral virtualization and acceleration.

Key subsystems include several essential components such as CPU, bus, interrupt, and debugging systems, enabling complete development of the server CPU chip platform.

On the software side, SpacemiT has completed development of the server platform firmware in line with the RISC-V BRS Spec, integrating openSBI, UEFI, and Linux support, including secure operating system capabilities.

This innovation positions SpacemiT to contribute significantly to advancements in AI computing and support for AI applications across various sectors.
