Riverbed has introduced Smart OTel, a novel approach to OpenTelemetry designed to enhance data analytics and decision-making in IT operations. This solution enables precise data collection, allowing teams to optimize AI Operations (AIOps) by quickly addressing business-critical issues through real-time access to relevant data.

In a landscape where IT teams face overwhelming vendor-specific dashboards and fragmented data, Smart OTel aims to simplify the troubleshooting process.
