Opanga has announced the appointment of Neville Ray, former President of Technology at T-Mobile, to its Board of Directors. This move coincides with Opanga's global expansion of its AI-driven platform, RAIN, which focuses on network optimization, real-time customer experience, service assurance, and energy management. Ray's extensive experience is expected to greatly benefit Opanga as it seeks to grow its customer base and enhance partnerships.

Ray is noted for his influential role in shaping T-Mobile's network and 5G strategy and was instrumental in the expansion of Fixed-Wireless Access (FWA). His skill set aligns with Opanga’s mission to improve network performance through AI.

Speaking about his new role, Ray stated, “AI-driven solutions like RAIN are the future of network optimization, enabling operators to enhance performance, improve customer experience, and drive efficiency at an unprecedented scale.”

Cole Brodman, Opanga's CEO, emphasized the necessity for network operators to enhance customer experience while improving operational and financial effectiveness. Brodman noted that Ray’s background, particularly his recent work with T-Mobile, will be vital as the company progresses.

Opanga’s RAIN software enhances network efficiency, lowers energy usage, and provides real-time intelligence, addressing current telecommunications industry challenges related to capacity and cost-efficiency. The company plans to showcase its solutions at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC).
