Mirantis and Gcore have entered into an agreement aimed at facilitating the deployment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads. This collaboration integrates Gcore Everywhere Inference with Mirantis' k0rdent open-source platform, enabling users to scale AI inference workloads globally.
Alex Freedland, CEO of Mirantis, stated, “Enterprise AI adoption has entered a new phase and open source has a critical role to play – bridging public, private and managed service clouds, so that users can maintain autonomy and control over their global infrastructure.” He emphasized that the integration with Gcore’s expertise will enhance the solutions available for MLOps and platform engineers.
Mirantis has recently launched k0rdent, which focuses on large-scale application management across various infrastructures. The integration of Gcore Everywhere Inference is intended to help global organizations deliver AI inference where needed while optimizing resource allocation and simplifying AI model deployment.
Seva Vayner, product director at Gcore, mentioned, “The collaboration between Mirantis and Gcore addresses today’s AI inference challenges by combining scalable infrastructure management with efficient workload deployment.” This partnership is expected to facilitate an easier platform for distributing AI inference at scale, addressing operational complexities across hybrid environments.
Misch Strotz, CEO of LetzAI, noted that effective partnerships can enhance AI deployment, making it quicker for businesses to onboard GPUs and deploy models, thus increasing productivity for ML teams.
As the demand for AI inference rises, Gcore Everywhere Inference is positioned to help businesses leverage their resources efficiently, contributing to improved ROI from AI initiatives. Mirantis and Gcore will demonstrate their technologies at future industry events, including GTC 2025 and KubeCon Europe.
