Brighton Park Capital has announced a growth investment in HITRUST, a company focused on information security assurance and compliance. This funding aims to support HITRUST's ongoing expansion and innovation in cybersecurity, particularly given rising global concerns about cyber threats and regulatory compliance. CEO Daniel Nutkis will continue to lead the organization, which plans to broaden its reach internationally and into new sectors.

Founded in 2007, HITRUST is recognized for developing comprehensive solutions for managing information risk, encompassing cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) risks. The investment will enhance HITRUST's core assurance offerings, which demonstrate significant growth potential. It will also support newer innovations, including continuous assurance and third-party risk management systems.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brighton Park Capital as a strategic partner,” stated Nutkis. “Their investment and industry expertise will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand our offerings.” Tim Drager, Partner at Brighton Park, expressed confidence in HITRUST's reputation as a credible standards-setter in cybersecurity, emphasizing the importance of adaptive controls in an evolving threat landscape.

Both firms have secured advisory support from various legal experts throughout the investment process.
