Highway announces the launch of Load Lock+ and Exclusion Intel, enhancing its platform for freight brokers by providing load-level protection and real-time tracking. These products aim to address issues such as fraud and compliance in the freight industry.

Load Lock+ extends Highway's existing Load Lock product by offering fully automated ELD-powered tracking. This tool allows brokers to track loads in real-time and ensures that carriers are authorized to haul specific shipments, minimizing risks. Features of Load Lock+ include automated vehicle assignment, visibility into unverified vehicles, and dynamic geofencing.

In a recent instance, Load Lock+ alerted KCH Transportation of a load assigned to California that was detected in Minnesota, allowing them to prevent theft.

According to Garrett Barnes, Vice President of Solutions at KCH Transportation, the automation provided by Load Lock+ improves tracking capabilities without requiring carrier involvement in setting up tracking.

Exclusion Intel provides detailed insights into exclusions within a carrier's insurance policy, allowing brokers to identify coverage gaps and ensure compliance with shipper requirements. This aims to reduce risk and address potential problems proactively.

Highway's commitment is to ensure brokers can make informed decisions and streamline the load assignment process, promoting transparency and efficiency in freight management.
