Cisco appointed Amy L. Chang to its board of directors. Chang is also the CEO and founder of relationship intelligence platform company Accompany.

Cisco hopes Chang’s experience as an entrepreneur and engineer will help the company innovate. With the appointment of Chang, Cisco’s board consists of 12 members.

Before founding Accompany in 2013, Chang served as global head of product for Google. She has also held a product management position at eBay and was a consultant with McKinsey & Company.

AT&T appointed Mazin Gilbert to vice president of advanced technology at AT&T Labs. Gilbert has been an AT&T veteran for 20 years, 10 of which were spent at AT&T Labs. Previously he was assistant vice president of intelligent services and platform research with the company.

Gilbert will lead the AT&T’s work in artificial intelligence (AI) software-defined networking (SDN), and its Enhanced Control, Orchestration, Management, and Policy (ECOMP) platform. He also plans to help the company meet its goal of virtualizing over 75 percent of its network by 2020.

Monitoring company Dynatrace has appointed Kevin Burns as CFO and Marc Olsen as senior vice president and general manager of digital experience.

Burns replaced Ken Stillwell, who is now CFO with Pegasystems, and Olsen replaced Howard Wilson, who is now with the BluePrint Lab.

Burns previously was CFO at iCAD, Inc. and Amicas. Olsen was in management at Silicon Valley-based startups and cloud-focused businesses like Splunk, McAfee, and Hewlett-Packard.

Martin Labelle has been appointed vice president of research and development with network performance company Accedian. In this role, Labelle will lead technology and new product development by Accedian’s R&D teams in Montreal, Sweden, and Vietnam. Previously, he was vice president of software engineering at Ciena.

In his new role he will help the company capitalize on the global opportunities in networking functions virtualization (NFV), cloudification, and 5G.

While at Ciena, Labelle led all product development initiatives in the areas of SDN, network and service management, network planning, and analytics. Prior to Ciena, Labelle held leadership roles at CENX, Amdocs, Bridgewater Systems, Nakina Systems, Ceyba, Visual Networks, and Newbridge Networks.

Mary Pat McCarthy was appointed to Palo Alto Networks’ board of directors and will also join the board’s audit committee.

Infoblox appointed Bill McCarthy to executive vice president of worldwide field operations.

Keith Matsunami was appointed to VP of sales with LogiGear. Matsunami rejoins the company after leaving for about two years to serve as vice president of sales with Symbio.

F5 also announced that Ryan Kearney has been appointed as CTO. Kearney had been named interim CTO in September, when Karl Triebes announced his retirement.

VMware announced that its new Products and Cloud Services organization will be led by Raghu Raghuram and Rajiv Ramaswami. Raghuram was the executive vice president in charge of SDDC with VMware, and Ramaswami was the executive vice president of networking and security with VMware.

Juniper Networks hired cloud computing executive Randy Bias as vice president of technology for its cloud software products.

Nokia announced that CFO Timo Ihamoutila will be leaving at the end of the year to take a job with ABB. He will be replaced by Kristian Pullola, who is currently senior vice president, corporate controller with Nokia.
