A new distribution partnership has been formed between Dragos and Carahsoft Technology Corp. to provide cybersecurity solutions for operational technology (OT) to government agencies.
This collaboration aims to enhance protection against increasing cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure in the U.S. The partnership designates Carahsoft as Dragos' Master Government Aggregator, making the Dragos Platform and its OT-specific WorldView cyber threat intelligence accessible to public sector customers. This will be done through Carahsoft's extensive network of reseller partners and various government contract vehicles including the GSA Schedule, NASA SEWP V, and ITES-SW2 contracts. As threats to critical infrastructure rise, government agencies require advanced OT solutions complemented by substantial expertise. The partnership helps meet this demand, focusing on comprehensive cybersecurity measures for industrial control systems (industrial control systems (ICS)). The Dragos Platform features OT network visibility and security monitoring, which assists users in asset identification, vulnerability management, and proactive threat detection.
Dragos WorldView enhances this offering by providing insights into emerging threats targeting industrial environments globally. Craig P. Abod, president of Carahsoft, stated the importance of protecting critical infrastructure as it becomes more interconnected, emphasizing the partnership's role in securing government IT systems against cyber-attacks. This collaboration aims to streamline procurement processes, reducing the burden on government agencies seeking to implement continuous monitoring and response capabilities for OT cybersecurity. Robert M. Lee, CEO and co-founder of Dragos, remarked on the significance of the partnership in extending their reach within the public sector, enhancing the capacity to safeguard national critical infrastructure.
The Dragos Platform and related solutions are now available through Carahsoft's reseller partners and several government contracts, facilitating access for public sector organizations seeking robust cybersecurity measures.
