Digi International announced enhancements to its Digi Navigator and introduced the Digi Connect EZ with Power over Ethernet (PoE), targeting simplified device management and improved serial connectivity.

The updated Digi Navigator features intelligent automation, broader device compatibility, and enhanced security to assist IT teams in managing both new and legacy hardware efficiently.

Key features include fast setup through automatic device detection, dual Ethernet ports for added flexibility, and robust security measures with Digi TrustFence for protection against cyber threats.

The Digi Connect EZ with PoE streamlines installations by providing power and data through a single cable. It supports multiple serial connections, allowing for better integration in industrial and automation applications.

Brian Kirkendall, Vice President and General Manager of Infrastructure Management at Digi International, highlighted the importance of customer feedback in the development of these solutions, aimed at reducing operational costs.

Both products are available now, further simplifying device configuration and enhancing connectivity options for businesses.
