Artificial intelligence (AI) is clearly a game changer for businesses, with few limits to the transformative potential of AI applications. But enterprises are struggling to implement AI efficiently with the necessary protections in place. Dell Technologies customers, for instance, are seeking help with navigating the challenges of deploying AI in distributed environments.

To address those customer concerns, Dell Technologies is now offering Nvidia’s end-to-end AI infrastructure and factory services in a move to help accelerate the adoption of AI in workstations, core data centers and the cloud.

Specifically, Dell customers have shared worries about verifying the accuracy of results from generative AI (genAI) applications and managing bias in genAI apps. “These are very real concerns for our enterprise customers,” Varun Chhabra, SVP of infrastructure and telecom marketing at Dell, told a group of reporters last week.

In addition, managing disparate data located in siloes and connecting that data to AI applications “is not trivial,” Chhabra added. “Managing this data is seen as one of the top challenges by enterprises today as they look to scale AI use cases.”

IT teams want an easy button, and “that’s really what the Dell AI Factory with Nvidia does,” he said.

Dell AI Factory with Nvidia allows IT teams to integrate data from different sources into their AI use cases, which streamlines the development of custom genAI models. “Our enterprise customers are looking for an easy way to implement AI solutions – that is exactly what Dell Technologies and Nvidia are delivering,” Dell CEO Michael Dell said.

AI factories are crucial to building intelligence on an industrial scale and turning proprietary data into meaningful insights. This partnership represents the first end-to-end AI enterprise service that integrates Dell’s compute, storage, software, services and client device capabilities with Nvidia’s AI infrastructure and software portfolio.

This integrated service uses rack-level design with rigorous testing and validation to support a wide range of use cases and applications, including model creation and tuning, augmentation and inferencing.

The goal with this partnership is “to help accelerate AI adoption within the enterprise and to do so in a trusted manner that doesn't put data at risk,” and to provide deployment location flexibility and the ability to integrate all of an enterprise’s data, Chhabra said.

Dell and Nvidia are also offering enterprise-grade professional services tied to this offer that will aid IT teams in developing their AI strategy, preparing data and implementing and adopting the service.

Dell AI Factory with Nvidia is available through traditional channels and Dell Apex.
