DDN has introduced Infinia 2.0, a software data platform aimed at enhancing AI data unification across data centers and multi-clouds. The platform, which features a scalable architecture, addresses challenges in AI analytics, model training, and inference, while improving GPU efficiency and reducing power usage. Independent benchmarks suggest improvements of up to 100 times in AI data acceleration and a tenfold reduction in costs related to data center and cloud operations.

Alex Bouzari, CEO at DDN, emphasized that Infinia 2.0 enables businesses to derive more value from AI while managing data workloads securely. With 85 Fortune 500 companies using DDN’s platform for their AI and high-performance computing (HPC) applications, Bouzari stated that Infinia enhances data analytics, speeds up model training, and provides accurate real-time insights without disrupting existing IT infrastructures.

Paul Bloch, Co-founder and President of DDN, noted that the platform caters to both enterprises and data scientists, having already been deployed in some of the largest AI data environments globally. Key industry leaders also commented on its importance, with Charlie Boyle from NVIDIA highlighting the need for integrated data systems to enable modern applications. Charles Liang from Supermicro pointed out their collaboration with DDN to create a major AI data center, underscoring the ease of deploying Infinia.

The Infinia 2.0 platform is designed to manage complexity and boost performance while ensuring data security. It facilitates AI Operations (AIOps) by unifying data analytics, preparation, and model inference across various environments. The platform supports structured and unstructured data, offers seamless integration with multiple AI frameworks, and significantly enhances performance metrics for AI workloads compared to existing solutions.

With a focus on sustainability, Infinia 2.0 achieves power efficiency improvements while scaling capabilities up to hundreds of thousands of GPUs. It also boasts high reliability and security, ensuring consistent data environments.
