Mutual customers will benefit from boosted endpoint threat detection and response capabilities.

CyberArk has announced a new integration with SentinelOne’s AI-powered cybersecurity platform, SentinelOne Singularity, aimed at protecting against privileged access misuse. This collaboration combines the advanced endpoint detection and response (EDR) capabilities of SentinelOne's Singularity Endpoint solution with CyberArk's Endpoint Privilege Manager. The integration is designed to create a comprehensive security framework, facilitating faster threat identification and response through AI-enhanced security analytics.

The partnership will also import CyberArk identity data into the SentinelOne platform, enhancing capabilities for security information and event management (SIEM) and extended detection and response (XDR). This enables customers to achieve greater context and correlation for their threat detection and responses, alongside improved threat hunting and automated investigations.

“SentinelOne recognizes that cybersecurity is a team sport,” said Melissa K. Smith, Vice President of Strategic Technology Partnerships and Initiatives at SentinelOne. “Our integration with CyberArk brings together two market leaders in endpoint security and identity protection and empowers customers to reduce the risk of privileged identity attacks in an open, flexible way.”

Industry leaders have expressed support for the integration. Nigel Miller, VP and Deputy CISO at Maximus, noted that the combination of SentinelOne and CyberArk will help organizations identify and respond to credential theft attempts more effectively. He highlighted the importance of a layered security strategy, particularly as organizations face increasing cyber threats across networks and cloud environments.

With the merger of CyberArk and SentinelOne technologies, organizations can expect to:

  • Detect and prevent ransomware, credential theft, and endpoint attacks via strong access controls, continuous monitoring, and in-depth analysis.
  • Enhance response capabilities through comprehensive threat intelligence and visibility.
  • Sustain user productivity by utilizing automatic policy-based program elevation while eliminating standing admin rights and implementing credential rotation.
  • Simplify deployment processes and operational workflows to accelerate time to value via SaaS solutions.

CyberArk's Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Clarence Hinton, emphasized the shift towards securing identities in a multicloud environment. He stated that this integration aids customers in detecting and preventing attacks that leverage privileged credentials, enhancing overall defenses against malicious exploitation.

This partnership positions both companies to address the growing complexities in cybersecurity while facilitating effective response mechanisms for their customers.
