In the latest win for CloudGenix, Hypercore Networks today announced a partnership with the SD-WAN vendor to deploy its cloud-based autonomous WAN.

The partnership comes at the request of Hypercore's customers, said Josh Dickinson, chief revenue officer at Hypercore, in a statement. "They have a highly differentiated autonomous SD-WAN product that revolves around applications and the user experience," he said of CloudGenix.

Hypercore customers will also gain access to CloudGenix's CloudBlades platform which integrates with a wide range of services from other vendors including Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft Azure, Equinix, Amazon, RingCentral, ServiceNow, and Slack to name a few.

The partnership enables CloudGenix to reach a broader audience. “With Hypercore Networks, we will continue to deliver autonomous WANs to more customers – enabling them to specify application policies aligned to their business and have the infrastructure choreograph itself,” said CloudGenix founder and CEO Kumar Ramachandran in a statement.

CloudGenix's Storm of Disruption Builds

In August, CloudGenix announced an integration between its Autonomous SD-WAN, CloudBlades platform, and Azure's Virtual WAN (vWAN) to provide remote offices around the world a secure, high-speed connection across Microsoft's cloud services.

The San Francisco-based SD-WAN vendor is seen by many in the industry as a market disruptor. In an interview with SDxCentral in July, Brandon Butler, senior research analyst at IDC, said the SD-WAN market could start to see changes as vendors like CloudGenix and Versa continue to gain traction.

Following CloudGenix last funding round in April, in which the company secured nearly $65 million, the SD-WAN vendor has turned its attention to displacing industry giants like Cisco.
