New podcast episode featuring leaders from BrainChip and ISL released.

BrainChip Holdings Ltd announced a partnership with Information Systems Laboratories, Inc. aimed at promoting AI-based radar research solutions utilizing BrainChip’s Akida neural networking processor.

ISL specializes in advanced technologies, including radar systems and cybersecurity, and will work with BrainChip to advance radar capabilities across various platforms, from drones to large systems.

Dr. Joseph R. Guerci, ISL President and CEO, noted the successful implementation of real-time radar signal processing algorithms using the Akida chip in conjunction with ISL’s RF engineering tools, leading to efficient edge computing solutions in aerospace and defense.

Guerci engaged in discussions about Artificial Intelligence (AI)'s role in technology and national security with BrainChip CEO Sean Hehir in the new “This is Our Mission” podcast, available on BrainChip’s website and popular podcast platforms.

BrainChip’s Akida processor facilitates the execution of machine learning algorithms with a focus on low power consumption, making it suitable for edge computing applications. The neuromorphic technology enhances capabilities in constrained platforms used in military and commercial settings.

Hehir commented on the partnership, stating that ISL’s involvement in the Early Access Program provided critical engineering resources to develop AI radar solutions, highlighting the effectiveness of their neuromorphic computing.
