Aryaka rolled out an overhauled secure access service edge (SASE) platform that includes new cybersecurity features targeted at maintaining high-performance connectivity while protecting sensitive AI workloads.

The Unified SASE as a Service 2.0 is a cloud-based converged networking and security platform that now includes Aryaka’s Universal ZTNA (zero-trust network access) and its AI>Secure feature.

The Universal ZTNA component builds on the company’s Zero Trust WAN strategy, and is positioned as a comprehensive identity- and posture-based access control that extends across the entire network edge. Aryaka said it will reduce reliance on legacy VPNs, help enterprises gain full visibility and control over application access, and minimize risk from lateral movement.

The AI>Secure offering adds safeguards for generative AI adoption, blocking prompt injections, malicious code, and other AI-specific threats, while enforcing compliance and content safety.

The update also includes enhancements such as upgraded data loss protection (DLP), generative AI traffic protection, and a refreshed My Aryaka portal offering administrators better visibility and easier policy enforcement. A continuous threat research feed powers the platform’s detection engines, providing protection against emerging malware and AI-driven attacks.

The company says customer feedback was a driving force behind the release. Since the launch of Aryaka Unified SASE 1.0 in March 2024, more than 65 customers have adopted its platform in sectors including manufacturing, retail, transportation, and technology.

“We’ve listened closely to our customers over the past year, and that feedback has guided the development of Aryaka Unified SASE,” Aryaka Chief Product Officer Renuka Nadkarni said in a press release.

Nadkarni added that customer feedback has shown “organizations need to expand secure, high-performance network connectivity to hybrid workforce across the globe” and they also “need help safeguarding their [generative AI] apps and services.”
