If you're trying to connect your WAN to Oracle Cloud, you're in luck: there's now an app for that. Aryaka's managed SD-WAN is now available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.

This week, the SD-WAN vendor announced it had gained "Integrated with Oracle Cloud" status, which enables Oracle Cloud users to easily take advantage of Aryaka's popular SD-WAN service.

"As enterprises migrate to the cloud, users at headquarters, branch offices, and remote locations are increasingly accessing a multitude of services across [infrastructure-as-a-service], [platform-as-a-service], and [software-as-a-service] platforms," said Aryaka CEO Shashi Kiran in a statement. "Aryaka's participation in the Oracle Cloud market place further extends our commitment to the Oracle community and enables customers to easily reap the benefits of Aryaka SmartConnect SD-WAN."

Aryaka's SD-WAN allows users to choose how to connect sites to Oracle's cloud infrastructure including the Oracle FastConnect or using IPsec VPNs. The vendor claims its service can improve multi-cloud connectivity and remote performance.

Oracle Cloud Marketplace works just as its name suggests, allowing customers to deploy certified compatible services from the cloud provider's partner network.

Aryaka's Potential Market Expands

Aryaka's partnership with Oracle further expands the SD-WAN vendor's ability to reach new markets.

According to IHS Markit report from July, Aryaka was the market's third-largest vendor with 11.6% market share. It trailed only VMware and Cisco.

And according to Aryaka's own SD-WAN report, there is still plenty of room to grow. That report, which surveyed 795 IT and network practitioners working for companies ranging in size from less than 1,000 employees to more than 10,000 workers, found more than half of enterprises were poised to make the switch from tradition WAN networks to SD-WAN in the next few years.

Oracle on a Roll

Aryaka wasn't the only company this week to announce integrations with Oracle Cloud.

Oracle itself joined the growing  list of public cloud providers to partner with VMware. The partnership now means VMware's software-defined data center (SDDC) stack will run on all major clouds including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Oracle's Generation 2 Cloud.
