Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has partnered with ChapsVision to integrate AI capabilities into its Rainbow Cloud platform and networking solutions.
The partnership combines Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's communication infrastructure with ChapsVision's data processing and AI technologies. ChapsVision will integrate its AI tools into Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's platforms to enhance automation and improve user experiences.
The companies will initially target customers in France and Germany before expanding to other regions. They position their joint offerings as a European alternative to global technology solutions, emphasizing data protection and regulatory compliance.
ChapsVision, founded in 2019, serves some 1,500 enterprise customers with its data processing software.
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise provides networking and communication solutions to over one million customers worldwide through 3,400 business partners.
The partnership targets enterprise and government customers seeking AI-enhanced communication tools while maintaining European data sovereignty standards.
The pair said the partnership will “deliver an enhanced user experience, greater automation, and measurable value for customers across key industries worldwide.”
The integration comes after Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise launched an on-premises network management system. Dubbed OmniVista Terra, the offering complements its existing OmniVista Cirrus cloud-based solution, providing the same features, but in a locally hosted environment, including switches, wireless access points, and SD-WAN.
