The pair are also partnering with Palo Alto Networks to integrate a multi-factor, zero-trust security model into the private wireless package.

The service is an opportunity to "establish a baseline" and then evolve over time to a secure access service edge, Windstream's Chris Alberding said.

The vendor's Duo Risk-Based Authentication delivers "on [Cisco's] promise of frustrating attackers, but not frustrating users,” SVP Tom Gillis said.

CMO John Maddison said the new platform can deliver 17-times faster firewall performances and 32-times faster encryption.

Tapping Prisma SASE, the service offers "a fully managed end-to-end network with cloud security features," NTT SVP Aishwarya Singh said.

The disaster prevention and recovery capabilities are built on its security service edge and zero-trust platform.
