As the demands of modern cloud, telecom, and high-capacity computing reach a breaking point, legacy architectures are struggling to scale. Traditional systems, often built around power-intensive x86 servers and complex networking layers, consume excessive power and create performance bottlenecks.

To meet these challenges, Xsight Labs has launched Xsight Accelerate, a program designed to provide high-performance, programmable infrastructure solutions that reduce power consumption, total cost of ownership (TCO), and time-to-market.

The foundation of Xsight Accelerate

Xsight Accelerate is built on the synergy between two core silicon products:

  • X-Series (X2 Universal Ethernet Switch): Delivers between 3.2Tbps and 12.8Tbps of throughput with sub-700ns latency. It features the industry’s first open switch Instruction Set Architecture (ISA).
  • E-Series (E1 DPU): A Data Processing Unit (DPU) featuring 64 Arm Neoverse N2 cores at 800 Gbps performance.

Core pillars of the program

The program transforms silicon-level performance into ready-to-deploy, sustainable solutions through three main pillars:

  1. Software-Defined Efficiency: Leveraging a 5nm process and optimized power density, Xsight’s solutions provide world-class processing at significantly lower power than competitors, ensuring that performance does not come at the expense of sustainability.
  2. Programmable Freedom: Xsight Labs provides fully programmable data planes, allowing architects to implement custom telemetry and new protocols without costly hardware redesigns. The ‘Run-to-Completion’ software architecture offers full control over the packet pipeline, enabling agility in supporting custom headers.
  3. Accelerated Wire-Rate Performance: Hardware-accelerated fast paths ensure that security and networking services operate at true line rates – up to 800 Gbps for the DPU or 12.8 Tbps for the switch, eliminating ‘latency tax’ and ensuring zero-loss data transport for sensitive workloads.

Driving faster time-to-market

Xsight Accelerate aims to simplify the transition from legacy hardware to open architectures. To jumpstart development, the program provides a comprehensive suite of assets, including:

  1. Architectural Blueprints: Detailed frameworks to guide seamless integration.
  2. Technical Code: Ready-to-use software assets for various applications.
  3. Integrated SONiC Support: Full integration with standard Network Operating System (NOS) stacks.

The 2026 launch cadence includes specialized solutions for Gateways, Network Packet Brokers (NPB), Security Appliances, Storage, AI Switching, and Top-of-Rack (ToR) Switching. By providing these programmable, power-efficient building blocks, Xsight Accelerate ensures the future of the data center is built on a foundation of performance, agility, and efficiency.
