This week's new entries to the SDxCentral Directory are full of companies that enterprise and service provider leaders, experts, and operators (LEOs) need to know -- with a few surprises.

The first shock is that there's a venture-backed SD-WAN company, Namla, that we haven't encountered, closely followed on the surprise scale by an Ethernet switch company not on our radar, XSight Labs.   This demonstrates just how much innovation continues to occur in all categories during this time of rapid market and technology change. The one nonshocker: We added two more yet-another-security-company (YASC) entries to the directory.

The rest of this week's list is dominated by wicked-cool data center-centric technologies to support artificial intelligence (AI).  Check out DXN Limited for prefabricated data centers or additional silicon companies to build various chipsets for AI data centers.  Lastly, if you're in networking ops, check out the networking automation company added this week.

My takeaways: Beyond being surprised there was an SD-WAN company not on our list, is that AI infrastructure, AI networking, AI chips, AI data center sure feels like a gold rush.  Not since the early days of SDN and NFV have had such an explosion of infrastructure companies concentrated in one technology area.  Yes, there will be loads of money spent, the question is for how long and with whom (and when).  My spidey senses feel a bubble coming, the question is when.  Time to grab the popcorn.
