Software maker Vertek is teaming with VeloCloud to offer its customers VeloCloud’s software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN) product.
Vertek provides remote monitoring and management (RMM) and Helpdesk services to its service provider and value-added reseller customers.
The partnership allows Vertek to offer its customers VeloCloud SD-WAN to complement its suite of migration, handling, and provisioning services. “There are many MSPs and VARs who want to focus on their core competencies, or may not want to invest in building internal expertise for support of the SD-WAN solution,” said Vertek President Brad Soutiere. “Vertek can offer a quick way to ramp up these services.“
With the RMM and Helpdesk on top of SD-WAN there is an added option for outsourcing remote management, monitoring, and both reactive and proactive services.
Vertek’s RMM and Layer 1, Layer 2 Helpdesk services are a part of the company’s network operations center. The company’s RMM product handles device management and receives automated responses from the SD-WAN orchestrator. The RMM prioritzes helpdesk tickets and assigns severity based on alert, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Additionally, RMM resolves issues and provides recommendation where applicable.
