Versa wants to bring SD-WAN to the little guy this week through a partnership with managed service provider Telesystem and technology distributor Telarus.

The agreement will see Versa bring its Titan SD-WAN platform to small to midsized businesses (SMB) with Telesystem providing installation, support, and management services for the Telarus agent community. Telarus is a U.S.-based technology services distributor with connections to more than 200 service providers.

“Telesystem has a unique high-touch approach and in-depth relationships in the agent channel, which we believe will accelerate the growth of Versa Secure SD-WAN and Versa SASE,” Michael Wood, CMO at Versa Networks, in a statement.

Versa's SD-WAN offering is available in three flavors. Versa Secure SD-WAN will provide advanced routing functionality for large enterprises with complex networks. Meanwhile, Versa Titan platform is billed as a "feature-rich yet easy to deploy" SD-WAN offering designed for SMBs with limited IT resources.

The first two offerings are delivered as a service, managed by Telesystem. However, for enterprises that prefer a do-it-yourself approach, customers can purchase and deploy either platform directly.

Today's news comes as Versa continues to expand its market reach through a combination of service provider partnerships and emerging technologies.

In April, Versa brought its Versa Titan offering, which initially launched a year earlier, to London-based IT distributor Nuvias in a bid to capture the lucrative SMB market.

Versa lowered the barrier for enterprises of all sizes with the launch of its Versa Secure Access platform earlier this summer. The secure access service edge platform supports SD-WAN functionality, including quality of service and identity-based policy enforcement, for remote workers without the need for dedicated CPE hardware.

“It’s completely software only, meaning there’s a client that runs on Windows, Mac, iOS, and we’ll also be introducing an Android version,” said Wood, in an earlier interview. “We think, this is pretty unique in that it enables SD-WAN all the way down to that client.”
