Tech Mahindra announced its membership in the AI-RAN Alliance, aiming to enhance AI-driven solutions within Radio Access Networks (RAN). This collaboration is designed to assist customers and partners in navigating the evolving telecom landscape.

With its role in the telecom systems integration sector, Tech Mahindra plans to use its expertise in network architecture, AI, Open RAN, and 5G technologies to support the alliance's goals of improving network performance and operational efficiency. The alliance aims to create AI-powered solutions that will optimize costs and provide new opportunities for telecom providers.

Manish Mangal, Chief Technology Officer of Tech Mahindra, stated, “AI is no longer a futuristic concept; it is actively shaping networks today.” He added that partnerships fostered through initiatives like the AI-RAN Alliance will help develop future-ready solutions.

The alliance focuses on three key areas of research: advancing RAN capabilities through AI, integrating AI processes for better infrastructure utilization, and deploying AI services at the network edge to enhance operational efficiency.
