Drata has announced a definitive agreement to acquire SafeBase, a Trust Center solution provider. This acquisition aims to enhance Drata's capabilities in Trust Management, integrating both companies’ strategies to create a comprehensive platform for enterprise clients. The deal is expected to close later this month.
As demand for Trust Management solutions rises, driven by cloud and AI reliance, regulatory requirements, and increasing security challenges, Drata’s acquisition of SafeBase is poised to streamline security reviews and strengthen vendor risk management through AI-driven automation. This partnership is anticipated to foster a seamless ecosystem of trust, governance, risk, and compliance.
SafeBase, launched in 2020, has served over 1,000 organizations, offering platforms that enable companies to build trust and reduce time spent on security questionnaires. Drata’s growth over the past four years has positioned it as a notable player in compliance automation and risk management.
“Joining Drata marks another milestone in our commitment to addressing customer needs through automation and AI,” said Al Yang, CEO of SafeBase. In addition, Drata's Co-Founder and CEO Adam Markowitz stated, “Together with SafeBase, we are empowering customers to ensure and communicate security and compliance effectively.”
This acquisition reflects a strategic move to enhance Drata's position within the Trust Management sector, aiming to benefit clients navigating increasingly complex security landscapes.
