CData Software has expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to enhance data access capabilities for users. This initiative will enable Google Cloud users to connect with various external data sources, including software-as-a-service applications and NoSQL databases.

Suraj Poozhiyil, Director of Product Management at Google Cloud, mentioned that years of successful collaboration influenced the decision to deepen their partnership with CData.

This expansion allows users to access a wider variety of data sources directly within their Google Cloud environment, which is intended to simplify data access and accelerate the time-to-value for data-driven initiatives.

This development comes shortly after CData was recognized in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Integration, marking a notable achievement as the only new vendor among 20 leading providers in the evaluation. Additionally, CData secured approximately $350 million in growth capital to strengthen its position in the data integration and connectivity solutions market.
