"I think we are pretty well situated," Nokia's Manish Gulyani said.

"I think we have five to seven years of great growth ahead of us," Celona CEO Rajeev Shah said.

The new Cisco 360 Partner Program will be fully instituted by early next year.

Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said 70% of its largest 10,000 customers have now adopted the VMware Cloud Foundation platform.

HPE CEO Antonio Neri said the job cuts “will better align our cost structure to our business mix and long-term strategy.”

"We are cognizant of what financial needs we have ... and we do intend to stay ahead of our needs with whatever means we have," CEO Hamid Akhavan said.

CEO Rajiv Ramaswami said the vendor added “roughly about 700 customers in this quarter,” and that “the vast majority of them are probably VMware customers.”

A William Blair report noted “newfound disillusionment from partners about Broadcom squeezing them on margins."

Analysts see opportunity and humongous hurdles.

“I do think this deal will get done. It's obviously going to have a longer tail to it," Moor Insights & Strategy's Will Townsend said.

CEO Hock Tan stated that artificial intelligence is set to become Broadcom’s dominant semiconductor driver over the next several years.

Seemingly every technology related news release over the past 12 months contained a least one reference to artificial intelligence.

Verizon is tapping Nvidia to power enterprise services running over the carrier’s 5G private network and mobile edge compute infrastructure.

Broadcom shrugged off the ability to grow the VMware business despite ongoing customer unrest.

While Nokia is making headway in the data center and cloud API space, its more traditional telecom radio access network business continues to battle.

"We expect that 50% of operating profit going forward will come from Juniper," HPE CFO Marie Myers said.

It could be a month or it could take several years.

Overall growth is set to hit record levels in 2025.

“I've had customers put things on hold right now, and not just the Juniper side but both sides,” Forrester's Andre Kindness said.

IoT Analytics did add that all three can claim a market victory.

The company has signed up more than 400 network-as-a-service customers over the past year, which CEO Kate Johnson noted was “a good start for sure.”

But logistical challenges remain.

That attentiveness could be critical to Broadcom maintaining positive sentiment from its customers, many of whom are suffering through sticker shock.

Timing of that API-fueled edge revolution remains in question.
