“We’ve kind of seen a pause in spend on these due to some macroeconomic issues that are going on in the market,” TBR's Michael Soper said.

“If you don't get the good relationship going you're going to push something for the OT people that they don't want," Omdia's Pablo Tomasi warned.

“I envision a convergence of the data center networking and the stack over time and integrated with Nvidia,” CEO Antonio Neri said.

But abstracting away complicating layers is key to helping overburdened IT teams.

“There will be multiple providers, and in fact as far as we’re concerned, we want there to be multiple providers," AT&T CFO Pascal Desroches said.

However, reports continue to indicate enterprise discontent with Broadcom’s changes at VMware.

Traditional telecom operators are in a prime position for some of the $13 billion in enterprise spend expected by 2028.

“The journey is not over, by any means, but it's very much to expectation moving to subscription," Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said of the VMware changes.

CFO Pascal Desroches this week said the carrier is seeing progress toward attracting more potential open radio access network equipment vendors.

The long-standing open source infrastructure platform is seeing an uptick in interest from current VMware users.

The firm spent considerable time researching vendors for its digital transformation efforts that span from “Argentina to China.”

Those vendors are now certified as part of VMware's recently altered sales channel model. as Broadcom looks to reduce support concerns from users and partners.

Kubenet can act as an abstracted level on top of a router or switch where orchestration of those devices can be managed in a vendor-agnostic way.

Analyst firms expect billions-of-dollars in opportunity.

“They’ve tried a bunch of things,” Nutanix CEO Rajiv Ramaswami said.

The certification also highlights growing interest in peering connections handling increased traffic from artificial intelligence services.

Verizon was using some of Casa Systems' 5G-based systems to power its cloud-native operations.

The carrier is adopting Cisco's latest 5G fixed-wireless access gateways.

If so, Rimini Street might have an option.

The addition includes Cradlepoint routers, industrial-grade adapters and its NetCloud management layer.

“This is something we felt we were going to have to do anyway, something we thought we needed to do for the industry,” Dell's Dennis Hoffman said.

The company also hints that the Accelerate Program could soon include its Carbon Black cybersecurity portfolio.
