European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administration (CEPT) – the coordinating body for European telecommunications and postal organizations, since 1959. It is organized into three main components:
- Electronic Communications Committee (ECC) – focused on radio communications and telecommunications
- European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP) – responsible for postal issues
- The Committee for ITU Policy (Com-ITU) – responsible for coordinating CEPT actions at ITU discussions and events
CEPT is also responsible for creating the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
