Learn how VMware NSX and vRealize Network Insight can not only help you secure your network, but also optimize network performance and increase your visibility across virtual and physical networks.
VMware vRealize Network Insight and NSX Demo
Traditional approaches of securing a data center are focused on building a strong perimeter to keep threats outside the network. However, little is done to protect the network once a breach has occurred. East-West traffic accounts for 80% of overall traffic but it is largely unprotected. Part of this is because customers have little visibility into the network traffic, leaving them exposed. Network segmentation is a fundamental information security principle that has been used, but, it is often too large to be effective and typically created to restrict north-south traffic. To effectively protect data centers from modern attacks, micro-segmentation using software down to the individual workload is needed.
The VMware vRealize Network Insight and NSX demo focuses on:
- Optimize network performance
- Increase visibility and analytics across virtual and physical networks
- Provide a fundamentally more secure data center with micro-segmentation
