DemoFriday Video: 6WIND vRouter Demo — Turbo Router, & Turbo IPsec
In this 6WIND vRouter Demo, we learn the results of 6WIND’s SDxCentral NFV Performance Report and how you can drastically improve your NFV performance. This report highlights the 6WIND performance results for the Speed Series family, including Turbo Router and Turbo IPsec. The NFV Performance Report will also compare performance against Linux routing and IPsec in bare metal deployments to 6WIND’s Speed Series family.
6WIND’s Product Manager Yann Rapaport goes in depth about the 6WIND Turbo Router and how it combines routing, firewall, and NAT features in a software appliance. Yann also covers the 6WIND Virtual Accelerator and how it reduces compute resources to maximize VM density and performance to be integrated quickly onto standard servers.
Audience members should gain a better understanding of how performance is critical for NFV to be effective and how NFV is an exciting technology as a next generation architecture. Industries like telcos, cloud service providers, data center operators, and enterprises have a lot of knowledge to gain from this DemoFriday.
This 6WIND vRouter Demo is available to everyone, but would benefit mostly cloud architects, network architects, and network engineers. VP’s of strategy and operations should listen in as well if they are looking for change within their organization. But again, everyone is welcomed to view this DemoFriday to gain better insight on the importance of NFV performance.
