ZXR10 9900 Series Data Center Switch works with ZTE’s SDN Controller, ZENIC, as well as other SDN controllers via OpenFlow/NetConf to download forwarding flow table, set up VXLAN forwarding tunnels, service configuration and centralized management.
Works closely with ZTE ZENIC to provide customers with full benefits of SDN technology. Supports EVPN, which can run as the VXLAN control plane to simplify VXLAN deployment. Supports VSC (Virtual Stacking Cluster) and the stacking bandwidth can be up to 3.2Tbps. Supports VLD (Virtual Logical Device) technology, capable of making one switch to be virtualized into as many as sixteen logical switches.

Designed with spine-leaf architecture, SDN-based VXLAN networking, distributed routing and full linkage with cloud, ZXR10 9900 series data center switches are serving for spine and the network is compatible with VMware servers and non-virtualized servers. All the key components of the ZXR10 9900 series data center switches are redundant design and hot pluggable, including: Intelligent Monitor Boards, Management Process Units, power supply modules, and fan modules. The ZXR10 9900 series data center switches support 1:2K NetFlow for data center large scale traffic collecting.

ZENIC vDC network solution is designed with SDN-based VXLAN networking and distributed routing. It supports multiple types of workloads such as normal vSwitch attached VM, SR-IOV VM, barematal server and container. For KVM servers and containers, ZXDVS virtual switches are used as VTEP. For barematal servers and SR-IOV VM, TOR hardware switches are used as VTEPs. K8S and OpenStack share the network. It supports smooth evolution and coexistence of different application architectures.
