Value Proposition
  • Ultimate performance and scalability to optimize network performance. NFWare vCGNAT is able to scale to hundreds of gigabits to ensure optimal performance during IPv6 migration.
  • On-demand Pay-as-you-go licensing.
  • Designed for Cloud Environment. vCGNAT is purpose-built to be deployed on standard x86 servers and designed for virtualized and cloud environments
  • Flexible integration on time with the latest industry standards.
Top Use Cases
  1. A Service Provider, who must somehow continue to assign addresses to large numbers of new customers when there are no new IPv4 addresses to use.
  2. A Service Provider or Enterprise, who supports customers with IPv6 only devices, needs to provide access to both IPv6 and IPv4 only services.
  3. Service Providers who use IPv6 access network, while their customers can use both IPv4-only and IPv4-and-IPv6 devices, IPv6-only devices are not supported by DS-Lite (they will only be able to access IPv6 Internet).
Customer Deployment Details

Global Operator – Telefonica. Telefónica and NFWare partnered to demonstrate a high-throughput carrier-grade network address translation in NFV-environment and completed performance tests of NFWare vCGNAT running in the cloud within the Telefónica NFV Reference Lab.

Mid-sized operator (Spain) – Futura Telecom. Futura Telecom deployed NFWare vCGNAT in their live networks, harnessing the power of virtualisation to solve the problem of IPv4 address exhaustion and increase infrastructure flexibility.
