The netElastic vBNG Virtual Broadband Network Gateway is built on a high-performance virtual routing platform that was designed and architected for virtualized x86 environments from the start. The control plane and data plane are completely decoupled and independently optimized and run in separate VMs or on completely separate servers allowing each to be scaled independently.
vBNG supports advanced routing capabilities, quality of service (HQOS), and can scale from a single server node to a multi-server design with distributed data planes controlled centrally. NetConf and YANG support enable robust automation while CLI emulations of popular hardware lower operating and management costs.
