Oracle Communications Service and Network Orchestration
The Oracle Communications Service and Network Orchestration solution provides an open, multi-domain, cross-layer orchestration platform for offering dynamic, customer-centric services efficiently; realizing agile service design and technology adoption; and lowering TCO by increasing automation and reducing IT and process complexity over time.
Service providers are transitioning to SDN, NFV and Cloud enabled-services while continuing to leverage traditional infrastructure. The solution’s end-to-end conceptual model and design principles are optimized for cross-layer orchestration efficiency and agility while also providing a low-risk evolution path to operations modernization as service providers gradually move towards more dynamic, real-time services.
The solution provides a business-analyst friendly, integrated cross-layer design environment to enable rapid TTM for new services, features and network capabilities for any domain by supporting agile, model-driven end-to-end service design processes. When a customer requests a unique order tailored to their needs through self-care, or updates an existing service, the solution auto-generates dynamic multi-layer orchestration plans to deliver the service in real-time and, if necessary, coordinates any manual components of delivery within an automated framework.
The optimized cross-layer orchestration platform reduces system and process complexity with predictable, layered orchestration patterns and expert micro-orchestration functions that encapsulate complexity, simplify integrations and enable efficient re-use across services and domains. The solution’s loosely coupled and abstracted architecture readily supports integration with other third party systems such as network resource inventory, WFM, SCM, SDN controllers or assurance as needed.
