The Nokia MEC platform is a multi-vendor, multi-technology application platform running on Intel architecture. It implements an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environment, to which MEC applications are flexibly deployed, managed and removed. The Nokia MEC platform can be inserted transparently into LTE networks.
