FortiGate VM is the VNF version of Fortinet’s flagship FortiGate hardware appliance delivering the same rich firewall, security functions and manageability. Suitable for virtual, cloud and NFV deployments, Fortigate VM adds a rich set of management and orchestration interfaces to support NFV standards-based service insertion and chaining. Interoperability has been demonstrated through ETSI, EANTC, and NIA. Native x86 and hypervisor offloading provide strong security performance.
