Cisco Network Services Orchestrator
Automate Innovative Network Services
The Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (enabled by Tail-f) simplifies the process of provisioning services in both physical and virtual networks. It decouples network services from specific components, while automatically configuring the network according to the service specifications. Cisco Network Services Orchestrator supports the open and modular Cisco Evolved Programmable Network platform as well as the industry’s broadest multi-vendor device support.
Features and Benefits
Multivendor, End-to-End Services Orchestration
Find out how your business can benefit from the features of Cisco Network Services Orchestrator.
It speeds additions or changes to devices and service types, and improves service agility and flexibility.
It requires no manual fall-outs or stale configurations.
Network Services Orchestrator allows for centralized, full control of all devices and services, with real-time, fine-grained, deep configuration changes.
Accurate and Efficient
The configuration database is in sync with the network, promoting accurate and efficient use of network resources.
Flexible and Dynamic
Network Services Orchestrator offers full-service life-cycle management (create, modify, decommission), providing flexible, dynamic services to end-users.
It delivers multivendor-, multiservice-type support using one system, one user interface, and one API to manage the complete network.
If offers a comprehensive set of northbound APIs, rendered from the models. This gives you easy integration with northbound systems like OSS and self-service portals.
With network-wide, unified command line interface (CLI), Network Services Orchestrator provides a powerful tool for network engineers, and builds trust.
It’s extensible through APIs and package manager, providing a DevOps model for orchestration.
Hybrid Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) Orchestration
Network Services Orchestrator manages the traditional physical OSS activation as well as the network functions virtualization orchestration. With one model and one transaction, Network Services Orchestrator will provision the end-to-end customer service, including management of any virtual network functions (VNF) involved. It interfaces with VNF managers, software-defined-networking (SDN) controllers, and virtual infrastructure managers directly to make sure all pieces of the service are automatically set up. Network Services Orchestrator is pre-integrated to a default VNF manager, the Cisco Elastic Services Controller.
