Cisco Network Services Orchestrator
The Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (enabled by Tail-f) simplifies the process of provisioning services in both physical and virtual networks. It decouples network services from specific components, while automatically configuring the network according to the service specifications. Cisco Network Services Orchestrator supports the open and modular Cisco Evolved Programmable Network platform as well as the industry’s broadest multi-vendor device support.
Features and Benefits
Hybrid Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) Orchestration
Network Services Orchestrator manages the traditional physical OSS activation as well as the network functions virtualization orchestration. With one model and one transaction, Network Services Orchestrator will provision the end-to-end customer service, including management of any virtual network functions (VNF) involved. It interfaces with VNF managers, software-defined-networking (SDN) controllers, and virtual infrastructure managers directly to make sure all pieces of the service are automatically set up. Network Services Orchestrator is pre-integrated to a default VNF manager, the Cisco Elastic Services Controller.
