Huawei ATN910 Series Cell Site Router (CSR)
The ATN series is case-shaped multi-service access equipment located at the edge of metropolitan networks. The ATN series and CX600/NE product series can be used together to build end-to-end routing metropolitan networks for fixed-mobile convergence (FMC). The ATN series helps operators to overcome challenges regarding resources, costs, and services at the access layer, ensuring smooth evolution mobile networks. With Huawei’s leading notion of mobile backhaul through “Any Connection”, the ATN series provides customers with a sustainable developing solution, which can carry both mobile and leased line services.
The ATN series feature such as accessing multi-service through multimedia, clock transport through any media, and high-precision frequency and time synchronization. When cooperating with the U2000, the ATN series helps decrease the total cost of ownership (TCO) for the network in an integrated manner and increases efficiency of deployment and O&M.
Rich Routing and MPLS Virtualization
Based on the same VRP software platform, the ATN series, CX600, and NE have good interconnection and intercommunication ability. ATN series offers complete and advanced routing and VPN features without compromising performance, maximizing investment protection. VPN features include traffic routing (RIP, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP4), segmentation (flexible QinQ and DHCP), and virtualization with MPLS (L2VPN and L3VPN). ATN series also provides comprehensive security and QoS implementations that accelerate the delivery of time-sensitive applications and services.
The ATN series detects failures in the network and reroute traffic to bypass failures; while ensuring the SLA requirements for end users. Some of the service protection features available on the ATN series include: LSP 1:1, PW redundancy, VPN FRR, TE FRR, Ethernet OAM (802.1ag, 802.3ah), and BFD for everything. A combination of these features can be used to provide local protection for services on the ATN series. The ATN series also provides carrier-class 50ms protection.
Robust Interfaces and Clock Solution
On the client side (UNI), the ATN series supports E1, FE, and GE interfaces. On the network side (NNI), ATN series supports interfaces such as GE, FE, STM-1 and xDSL. Robust clock distribution strategy guarantees that a change in traffic conditions does not impact the transport of information. Clock distribution features include: IEEE 1588V2, synchronous Ethernet, and 1588 ACR. The ATN clock solution fully satisfies requirements for high-precision clocks on mobile backhaul networks, and business and transport Ethernet services.
The ATN series has the advantages of small volume, low power consumption, suitable for installation, and can effectively reduce the OPEX; the overall solution supports end-to-end L3 routing, maximizing investment protection. Based on the visualized management of U2000, the solution can help simplify IP operation, enhancing deployment and management efficiency.
