Software defined networking's the craze of the networking industry.  Who knew Katy Perry was also connected to the SDN Networking phenomena.

SDN Networking, Network Virtualization, Katy Perry.  Yes, I find it hard to believe that's true, too.

So, check this out,  Roy's been dying for a reason to write a silly post with gratuitous use of keywords to taunt the Google search engine for months and I've been telling him his planned post about what Jennifer Aniston and OpenFlow have in common will only just date him (I've been advocating for Selena Gomez or Kate Upton instead).

Then, this afternoon when I opened my Inbox and found a message from Chris Koeneman from ADTRAN with the following slides linking SDN Networking, Network Virtualization, Global Warming and the Loch Ness Monster with Katy Perry.  See for yourself:

And yes - while this was a total reason to write a post with gratuitous use of keywords it did bring a smile to my face - and hope it does to yours. Chris -- thanks for making my Friday.

In all seriousness, this has been the first chance in a long time where I had a few minutes to write up a post for SDxCentral.  Just because Craig's joined the team doesn't mean that Roy and I are no longer writing.  We've been working on some amazing content and scoops for the SDxCentral community and will start sharing the fruits of this labor shortly. For a peek, think: new, killer DemoFriday's (check out next week's with Cyan and Accedian), awesome new Channels, and some surprises.

Lastly , We will be at VMworld -- please let us know if you are in town and would love see / meet you!
