Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and continuity solutions, has announced the acquisition of assets and technologies from BiXin Energy Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd (BSE). This acquisition aims to enhance Vertiv’s chiller offerings, particularly in support of high-performance computing (HPC) and AI applications.

BSE, based in China, specializes in air-cooled and water-cooled systems with cooling capacities of up to 5.5 MW. The company is recognized for its advanced technology solutions in the field of chilled water technology, making it a strong addition to Vertiv’s portfolio as it addresses increasing demand for efficient cooling systems.

Vertiv’s CEO, Giordano Albertazzi, stated, “This acquisition supports our capital allocation strategy, which includes adding technologies that are early in the maturity curve to our portfolio.” He emphasized the complementary nature of BSE's solutions, which will assist in meeting the growing needs of customers in high-performance environments.

The partnership between the two companies has existed since early 2024, during which they began manufacturing Vertiv-branded products for customers in China and Asia. BSE is a certified facility recognized for its quality in the cooling technology space.

BSE’s CEO, York Zha, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, noting that the combination of their offerings with Vertiv's will result in a robust suite of cooling and heat-recovery solutions for data center clients.
