USI, a global leader in electronic design and manufacturing, has announced a collaboration with Tech Mahindra to establish its first Engineering Offshore Development Center in India. This center, located in Tech Mahindra's Bengaluru office, aims to accelerate innovation in smart device engineering.
The partnership will focus on developing scalable solutions and expediting time-to-market for advancements related to connected devices, connected vehicles, and augmented and virtual reality (VR). This expansion reflects USI’s commitment to enhancing its engineering capabilities and leveraging Tech Mahindra's specialized talent pool and advanced laboratories.
Narasimham RV, President of Engineering Services at Tech Mahindra, remarked, “We are delighted to collaborate with USI to launch a first-of-its-kind engineering development center. This underscores our commitment to driving innovation through specialized engineering services.”
The center will offer a range of services, including modem software development, middleware, and advanced hardware design support. John Fang, USI’s CTO, stated, “This partnership will provide us with the scalability and flexibility needed to accelerate our time to market and meet the evolving demands of our customers.”
