The DJSI, which ranks the top companies based on long-term economic, environmental, and social criteria, has included Tech Mahindra in its World and Emerging Markets indices for the tenth consecutive year. This accomplishment is notable as the DJSI World Index features the top 10% of the largest 2,500 companies.

Sandeep Chandna, Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) of Tech Mahindra, remarked, “In a rapidly changing world, organizations must commit to sustainability and resilience, ensuring our actions today pave the way for a better tomorrow. Tech Mahindra is proud to celebrate its inclusion in the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the 10th consecutive year. This sustainability milestone is a testament to our commitment to a greener future and reflects our unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility, social impact, and ethical practices.”

The company's sustainability targets include achieving Net Zero by 2035, Carbon Neutrality by 2030, and sourcing 90% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030. Tech Mahindra also aims to become water-positive by 2030 and ensure zero waste to landfill across its facilities.

To support these initiatives, Tech Mahindra has implemented an internal carbon pricing mechanism to drive investments in renewable energy, efficient technologies, and green buildings. This approach reinforces its position as a leader in sustainability while delivering lasting value to stakeholders and the planet.
