SES has announced a partnership with Quvia to enhance its multi-orbit connectivity solutions by integrating advanced network orchestration capabilities. This collaboration will leverage AI and machine learning technologies to dynamically manage network resources and optimize quality of experience for customers in the mobility, enterprise, and cloud sectors.
The partnership involves integrating SES’s Adaptive Resource Control (ARC) system with Quvia’s Grid and Network Capacity Controller (NCC) solutions. The NCC will enable dynamic allocation of satellite capacity across multiple customer endpoints. Together, these systems will analyze customer demand and push capacity from SES’s satellite network to the edge, ensuring high-quality connectivity tailored to customer needs.
Additionally, SES will utilize Quvia’s quality of experience (Quality-Of-Experience (QOE)) analytics to monitor service quality across various systems, providing a comprehensive view of connectivity performance from the network core to end-users.
Benny Retnamony, CEO of Quvia, noted that this partnership marks progress in multi-orbit connectivity, offering enhanced flexibility and reliability for customer services. Xavier Bertrán, Chief Product & Innovation Officer of SES, emphasized the company’s focus on integrating multiple satellite connectivity services to improve digital experiences.
SES and Quvia plan to showcase a multi-orbit cellular backhaul solution at MWC25, demonstrating their capabilities in providing guaranteed service levels to enterprise customers.
